Possible consequences of a GOP POTUS and GOP Congress.....

Possible changes in store for America if a Republican gets the Presidency, especially with the Congress as it is now……..a Republican President, with a compliant Congress, could do a lot of damage in the first 100 days. Could a Republican accomplish all of this carnage? Probably not, but undoubtedly, much of this list could be “checked-off”. There are no moderate Republicans in the running for POTUS…….

Have no doubt, this is a wish list, probably incomplete, for the GOP…….

End the filibuster – if the GOP has 51 votes, the filibuster will be the only way to stop/slow down the GOP….and I think they will end it to push things through as quickly as possible…..recall the damage done by the GOP in Wisconsin, Kansas, Maine, Indiana, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, etc.
Supreme Court – 1-3? conservative extremists appointed
Obamacare – gone
LGBT rights – gone
Flat tax – progressive taxes gone; huge tax cut for the top
Inheritance tax – gone
Repeal of financial regulations
EPA - gone (in function if not in name) rollback of pollution regulations
*Social Security – gone
*Medicaid – gone
*Medicare – gone
*any privatization or individual saving account plan (scam) IS the de facto elimination of these programs
Minimum wage – some would eliminate it – gone if they could get away with it
Voter suppression assistance for states
Permanent gerrymandering
Amtrack – gone
Privatization of everything possible
Labor laws – more rollbacks
Abortion – gone
Marijuana reform/legalization – gone
Massive sell-off of public lands
Obstructing alternative energy; solar, wind, etc.
More war, more war, more war…….

Feel free to add to the list…..

End of federal freeway system, will deteriorate overnight.

Women will no longer have rights over their own bodies and will die in botched, illegal abortions.

open the ACA to corporate veto, gave us Clarence Thomas, discourages turnout, is built on machine politics, sends our jobs overseas and brings indenturees here, follows the donors on pharma, insurance, dirty energy, Wall Street, blocks legal weed, got us in Iraq, Syria, Honduras, Libya, and would toss any social liberalism in the rubbish the moment the polls shift

that's why we're fighting what the Dems have become today

Sanders is preferable over Clinton; but Clinton, flaws and all, is absolutely preferable over any Republican.

There is no choice.

The GOP is presenting true believers.....they are filled with anger, racism, faux-patriotism and are intent on forcing their destructive ideology unto the American people. GOP voters (also filled with hate, irrational fear, and racism)will, unlike Democrats/Progressives, vote in large numbers in every election.

Furthermore, unless the Congress changes hands (not very likely, especially the House), neither Clinton nor Sanders will accomplish much.......cabinet appointees will be blocked, legislation will be blocked, Both Clinton and Sanders will be busy with the veto pen - 24/7.

And finally, things will reaally grind to a halt when the House radicals start impeachment proceedings against Clinton.
