Cliven Bundy to remain in jail in 2014 Nevada standoff case

http://news.yahoo.com/fbi-arrests-nevada-rancher-cliven-bundy-portland-090715142.html

LAS VEGAS (AP) — The father of the jailed leader of a group that occupied an Oregon federal wildlife refuge was charged Thursday by federal authorities with leading a tense April 2014 armed standoff with Bureau of Land Management agents near his ranch in Nevada.

The federal magistrate judge ordered Cliven Bundy to remain in custody at least until next Tuesday, and said she'll consider his request for a court-appointed attorney.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Janice Stewart said she wanted to see financial documents first. Federal authorities have said Bundy owes more than $1.1 million in fees and penalties for letting cows graze illegally on public land for about 20 years near his Bunkerville, Nevada, ranch.

Bundy, 69, was arrested Wednesday night when he arrived at Portland International Airport from Las Vegas to visit his sons, Ammon Bundy and Ryan Bundy.

His detention means he'll be housed in the same jail as his sons, the leaders of an armed group that occupied an Oregon wildlife refuge.

But the charges against the patriarch don't stem from the occupation by the sons of the refuge in Burns, Oregon.

not the strategic course They pulled back and have been assembling evidence for indictments ever since

There intention is to wait for all these dumbasses to leave their hidey holes and arrest them one at a time

I bet the have scores maybe hundreds of indictments sealed and ready for serving up at their convenience

They will be absorbed into the Arian Nations Brotherhood. These pukes all have White Supremacy leanings. It's a twisted and bent mindset.

They sit around chewing tobacco and drinking whiskey. They kill their own cattle, report it to their insurance company as a loss to a coyote, then eat it at a BBQ. They run the herds roughshod over public lands until it's eaten down to nothing. They don't pay their fare share for the range when others law abiding ranchers do. They dress up in silly cowboy costumes and ride horses back and forth carrying American flags to show how patriotic they are. Give them freedom and they just waste it. I believe the west was far better off before these armed mounted locusts showed up."

And water is what keeps the fragile ecosystem alive.

They are destroyers.
