I'd love someone like Erwin Chemerinsky or Marjorie Cohn to be looked at. Someone from "our side" who's been looking at court decisions for years.

Yes, he has a place in the Senate, but he would be great on the court. And he would pass confirmation hearings.

11. Maybe someone like Bernie or his successor (Warren? :) ) could appoint him down the road...

... after he's served in the senate, or one of the first picks in the coming term if he doesn't win.

If we get someone like Sanders elected, and coat tails bring in some more progressives in to congress, perhaps we'll have more to select from later or more to select from later to replace someone like Feingold if we apopint him then.

He's poised to win his Senate seat back, but I'll take him on SCOTUS any day.
