If the GOP stalls the confirmation of a new appointee and then wins the presidency, we could get someone worse.
Certain "progressives" have announced the Supreme Court is inconsequential to them. They have announced they will not vote for the Democrat if it isn't their guy, revealing a willingness to see civil rights eroded. People have their priorities, and for some the rights of people like you and I don't rate.
