Why the delay in announcment of Scalia's death, "apparently" of natural causes"?

CNN just announced that the President wasn't notified until this afternoon. There was one story most of the day. My stink-o-meter is in just registered Reeks to High Heaven, it's highest measure.

Who was he sharing the room with? Was there something in the room that needed to be removed? If they had to clean up God know what, what would take so long?

Even notification of family shouldn't take 10 hours.

A lot of people have died that way. We should respect the privacy of the family when someone is found dead from this practice.

I doubt calling the white house would be their #1 priority at the time. Now if he had a bodyguard or aide with him, yeah, the delay would be a bit suspicious.

His arrogance would prevent such a thing if nothing else. As a piratical matter he needed security.

What if he ran out of Scotch or toothpaste? He was going to the liquor store in his Cadillac?

The love fest is disgusting, no one mentions the corruption. But this is ridiculous by even American media standards.

Scalia's LIFE did, but probably not his death.

Shit, I don't need a coroner to tell if a body is dead?

Why would you think a man who lived his life with no moral compass would die differently than he lived?

...even if a political figure or celebrity...a coroner MUST notify family before releasing any details of a death. Who knows if he was at this resort alone or with a spouse. I read he had nine kids. I'd assume if his wife was there they wanted to notify the kids before releasing to the public. Nothing worse than reading your dad is dead on TMZ.

I'd just say settle down with the tin foil hat on this one.

Some guy from ABC was trying to intimidate me into telling what was happening.
