"President Obama was elected for a 4-year term, not a 3-year term."

This needs to be our mantra. This needs to be the overwhelming talking point on social media, and MSM if we can. This is what we must say in response to any suggestion that Obama wait until the inauguration to nominate a new Supreme Court Justice.

It is the unassailable truth. The Constitution gives him a clear duty, and does not allow him to take a year off for partisan considerations.

President Obama was elected for a 4-year term, not a 3-year term.

Pass it on.

The Constitution is on Obama's side. The Court must have nine justices.

and Inauguration Day. But that would be moot because it would take that long to even consider a nominee.

So you are correct.
