Fareed Zakaria: "Yes, America is being changed — but by whom?"

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/yes-america-is-being-changed--but-by-whom/2016/02/11/834d3dca-d105-11e5-88cd-753e80cd29ad_story.html

It's the talking point we've heard a lot lately: Obama wants to/is fundamentally changing America. In fact on MSNBC's coverage, Rachel Maddow actually challenged Steve Schmidt (the guy who gave us Sarah Palin) when he made the comment. He was saying so forcefully that Obama had fundamentally changed America, that you almost believed it.

Here, Fareed Zakaria uses the idea that most politicians talk about American exceptionalism. So, he asks, what is it that makes America great? Fareed concludes that it's our openness and diversity that makes us great. Then he points out that the Republicans want to build a wall and even deport people--some of them American citizens. He asks, who really wants to fundamentally change America?

you will be correct. Whatever they're accusing evil liberals of doing on any given day, it's some kind of projection of what they're busy doing.
