https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-nation/wp/2016/02/17/justice-scalias-death-and-questions-about-who-pays-for-supreme-court-justices-to-visit-remote-resorts/Turns out all guests were staying free. Who were they? Who was Scalia's 'friend' who accompanied him on Valentine's Day weekend? Why did he decline US Marshals protection? Owner had case before Supreme Court last year.
Special Prosecutor may be necessary, IMO.

(9,036 posts)After all, Scalia raged against homosexuals. That often indicates the complainer is themselves homosexual.

(70,585 posts)One of Poindexters companies was involved in a case that made it to the high court. Last year, the Supreme Court declined to hear a case involving an age discrimination lawsuit filed against one of these companies, court records show.
The nature of Poindexters relationship with Scalia remained unclear Tuesday, one of several lingering questions about his visit. It was not known whether Scalia had paid for his own ticket to fly to the ranch or if someone else picked up the tab, just as it was not immediately clear if Scalia had visited before.

(58,785 posts)to dismantle our government, and of course we're not in it. We're the people who believe in the Constitution and believe in a prosperous, progressive society. Do you know many of the plutocrats want to do with with compulsory education of our children? All in the name of "personal" freedom, of course. Theirs will be educated, of course. Knowledge is power.
Who remembers that Charles had David run for vice president in 1980? He got 1% of the vote. At the time, William F. Buckley Jr. dismissed their views as "Anarcho-Totalitarianism." After that, they gathered up their friends and took their "revolution" underground.
Powerful as they are, they are no match for an unsympathetic president, even when they control Congress: "Koch himself described Obama's election in almost apocolyptic terms, declaring that america faced "the greatest loss of liberty and prosperity since the 1930s." Yup. Theirs.
The primary obstacle Powell identified was not the remnants of the late-60s antiwar and civil rights movements, which were both in the process of disintegration. Rather, they sought to undermine the "respectable elements of society" and replace them with people like themselves."
Shortly after that they got Powell placed on the Supreme Court.

(65,616 posts)interest' that told his critics to F-off. He abused his power, probably from day one of sitting on the bench. I just hope this further stains his fucked up record and we can all agree he was one of the worst judges to ever sit on the SCOTUS.
