Neighbors outraged by Confederate flag, African-American baby doll hung from noose (PA)

... He said he found out about the display Tuesday afternoon when a man who lives nearby called. Officials in Scottdale Borough said they've been hearing about it for months, however it's outside their jurisdiction.

"I just hope he has to take it down," Szolek said. "That's all I want, you know. I don't care, I don't want him punished. I just want him to take it down so we don't have to look at it."

Pittsburgh's Action News 4 reporter Beau Berman knocked on the Porter Avenue home's door, but no one answered. Thirty minutes later he drove by again but the doll and flag were gone.

"It probably is allowed to be there at his property, but if we can do anything to stop it we will," Hodgkiss said ...

The flags were taken down before Christmas. Two of the houses were on opposite ends of a major highway that ran through town.

Don't you appreciate for even one second how tough it is for the unnamed* homeowner (or renter or squatter, I don't know) to live in a country where "that one" has been living in the White House lo, these seven years? Can you even imagine the pain and the anguish he goes through every single day, knowing that the only reason the White House hasn't been in Republican hands for the last two elections is because that awful, awful man got more votes?

*Although if I had to guess, I'd guess the fellow's name starts with a "B" and ends with an "oudelang."
