Corporatizing And Profitizing First Responders

Last edited Mon Jun 4, 2012, 12:20 PM - Edit history (1)

The attack on public unions is really about the desire to profitize first responders. Nothing would make conservatives and the GOP happier than to turn our police and firefighting forces over to private companies. After all anything that does not make a profit or is not capitalized is worthless. These jobs need to be in the private sector with low pay and no pensions. We can save a lot of tax money that way. It will be pay or burn or pay or die.

It will be great going back to the 19th century when you put a sign on your house or building so when the first responders showed up they knew whether or not you paid your private insurance. If you have the wrong sign on your your house yo had to wait until the right fire department showed up. Better yet put a chip in everyone so that when they get sick they can be treated by the right doctor who is in the right private insurance system. Having a medical emergency sorry wrong ambulance.

This scenario is Grover Norquist's greatest dream where no one pays taxes and your local business covers all of these emergencies.

Be careful what you vote for because one day when you need the the most you will have the "Three Stooges" show up.
