(4,119 posts)Jeb would be where he is now even if Trump wasn't in the game. Even republicans don't want another Bush.

(8,646 posts)This shows that a lot more republicans agree with Trump's 'left wing' Iraq war views than the TV talking heads thought. And those republicans DO blame W. And they want the Bushes to just go away.

(15,888 posts)His campaign may look dead but, it's kept alive with a tube feeding machine. See there?! He blinked! He's nowhere near as brain dead as his rival Dr. Carson! Tell you all what... Let's get a court order to make sure that nobody can pull the plug on his campaign! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !!!!! ! ! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!! ! ! !!! !!! ! !.. ! ! ! ! !!

(43,189 posts)To be fair, it ain't no tragedy that Jeb's failed--at least not in the modern sense of the word (maybe in the classical sense though).
I lived under him in Florida. He was mean, nasty and corrupt to the core, who hated government and hated the idea of service. It's not like he was a preferable alternative to the crazy ones on the GOP ticket.
Did "President Jeb Bush" scare me? No. "President Donald Trump" scares me.
But "President Jeb Bush" did depress the ever-living hell out of me. And I'm glad he's gone.
