Anyone here feel sorry for Jeb?

Cause I don't. Fuck him. If he didn't cheat for his brother in 2000 and just let the votes be re-counted, then his brother aint president, and he wouldn't have to run with that anchor around his neck.

he 'parlayed his time in office' into 10s of millions of dollars of personal loot. Ie, he was your usual Republican grifter. So no, he gets no freaking sympathy from me, he's still living better than 99.9999% of Americans, and I respect your average garbageman a hundred times more than I respect him. They actually do hard, real work, and they also wash the slime off when they're done with work, they don't cherish it.

they have a special duty and entitlement to high "public service" because they are born into wealthy families. You know, like Jeb wants to shame unwed pregnant teenagers. I'd feel sorry for him when it drove him to suicide.

As for people who tamper with the vote, like the rest of them, I believe he should still be in prison. Sentence proportional to the crime, and that was huge.

I feel sorry for someone who's subjected to, and gives in to, that kind of pressure.

of leisure and financial comfort. If he works at all, it will be as a highly-paid consultant. He will never worry over an electric bill or the price of groceries, neither will his children or grandchildren. He is, after all, a Bush.

Upon arriving, Jeb will be forced to train in a fighting school until "W" is convinced that he can take a punch without crying for his mommy. Then, he will be given only one family opportunity -- boss the Bush ranch in Paraguay and take no crap from anyone. He will do OK, unless Trump buys a ranch on his fence line.

He'd wealthy, healthy, married, and has a healthy family. His loss was to his ego; it was not a death or injury or bankruptcy.

I make it a point to not feel bad for rich people that have everything going for them when they have a setback.

He can afford all the therapy, vacation, or distraction that he needs.

I'm pretty sure that just like brother George, he never wanted to be president and had to be talked into it. I'm sure he knew Dick Cheney was running the show and his brother was taking the hit. Would have been same with him.

Maybe this will finally mark an end to the stink of the Bush family in politics.

I guess if I lived in Florida from 1999-2007 I might, but I don't equate Jeb to his brother or father. Nor was ever worried he could win. In fact, I wanted him to get the nomination so the GOP could lose.

The remaining candidates in the fields do concern me, with the level of concern increasing based on electability.

He didn't ask to be born into such a screwed up family. I can't imagine what growing up with an asshat brother like George would be like. George called one of his most loyal allies Turd Blossom and didn't see anything wrong with trying to give Angela Merkel a backrub in public. He wasn't exactly good with how to conduct himself and that was after he stopped being a drug addict.

That said, Jeb had all the advantages in the world to rise above his circumstances and didn't, which is his own damn fault.
