(1,990 posts)but with the threat of Rubio (potentially GWB's 3rd term), I would have to go with Hillary if she's the nominee

(17,064 posts)In my fb feed are several Sanders fb groups. Everyone is pretty much voting for Stein if Clinton is the nominee. It will be easy to measure, Stein got .36% of the vote in 2012. Compare 2016s results, and that is Sanders supporters.

(4,185 posts)She got locked out of debates in 2012. Was arrested and cuffed to a chair. In my 90% Democratic voting precinct she got around 3% of the vote, as I recall. I'd vote for her again.

(11,495 posts)I was for O'Malley, but he didn't make it. I am not going to write in his name or vote third party. I now O'Malley would never run third party, as I know Bernie won't. How anyone here can claim to support and admire Bernie, yet even suggest not voting for the nominee, writing in Bernie's name, or voting third party is beyond me. Makes me wonder what their real agenda is, since it's not working to get Democrats elected!

(16,916 posts)I'll speculate that some people might no longer believe that "working to get Democrats elected" is always the most progressive goal possible.
