It belonged to the County of San Bernardino so their employees could use them for word. I am really tired of hearing this about the Gubberment controlling the iiiiiphone like the evil gubberment took it away from the owners to force them change the numbers. Nice try.

According to this article, Apple is telling the court that the gov't f*cked themselves out of an easy way to access a terrorist's info, and is using that as an occasion to try to force Apple to make it easy for them to access ALL our info.

If you have authority to the contrary, please share it.

Right now the DA in NY is going on about the 100 or so Iphones he's got of people arrested for minor drug possession, that he can't get into.

This is about that, the government being mad at apple for making the war on pot smokers more difficult.

But having established the precedent will mean they can swing by Apple's doorstep with a box full of iPhones at any time in the future and demand a repeat act, terrorism related or not.

And Apple won't do a thing without a legal warrant that passes their own legal team.
