What we know about the claims against Peyton Manning

In 1996, Peyton Manning exposed himself to a female trainer. He said he was mooning another athlete. The trainer, Jamie Ann Naughright (then known by her maiden name, Whited), later said it was much worse: that he pulled down his pants and placed his naked genitals on her face while she was examining his foot.

that was the incident that broke the camel's back. She sued the school and won. A gag order was placed on all the parties. The trainer moved to Florida and worked at a college there. Getting on with her life. Then Manning decided to write a book and lie about the incident. Because of that she lost her job and her career was destroyed. She sued Manning and settled out of court. All the testimony was in the trainer's favor. There was also a complaint she made against Manning a few years earlier that is also under court ordered seal.

Move on to the present. Again the trainer has not said a word about any of this. But her lawsuit from UT is named in a civil suit on behalf of 6 other females at UT. It is being used to show that UT has covered up and created an environment ripe for sex assaults by athletes. Also known as rape culture.
