General Discussion: Primaries is for general discussion about the Democratic Party primaries.

In case you somehow missed the giant banner that you had to click on before posting here at plain old General Discussion.

And that includes the whole "I was just making a general, non-election related comment on X Democratic Candidate, No really, I was" thing. Because no one believes you and that's just pathetic.

Some of us consciously avoid the ridiculous shit flinging insanity that is GD: P for a reason. Not that there's anything wrong with shit flinging. Just fling your shit over there for a reason.

I was running in the Primary against Tommy_Carcetti. He accused me of not respecting Chuggo enough; so I poured mayo on his nice suit during the Lounge Caucus. And then he tried to claim Lee Mercer, Jr wasn't supporting my candidacy, and so I had to get all up in his house with disease.

It was a messy time.

Last I looked, we are in the primaries, and there seem to be a lot of OPs about what may happen in the GE. As if we already had a nominee. Which we do not.

Belongs in GD. Congressional races, GD. We can still discuss politics in GD but not the primaries. That stuff stays in GD-P, Politics, but I consider that "P", 'Primary', which is a hotbed of contention between perfectly nice Democrats slinging mud at each other. The makeup sex will be phenomenal if it is proportional to the fight. Poor darlings. They need their own room. It's better to keep the infighting more private. It's a family fight, as if the Hatfields and McCoys were in laws, and the relatives get drunk at Thanksgiving, and everyone starts saying what they really think. It's just not anything you want your enemies to dine on when they get wind if the gossip.

Yes, it's a bloodbath in GDP and the tone tends to leak in here if the primary talk gets loose and carries over.
