GOP in full "ANYONE BUT TRUMP" Panic mode

Last edited Mon Feb 22, 2016, 04:01 PM - Edit history (1)

Heard one of the local Arizona Party officials on the radio in Phoenix this morning.

They are in full panic mode, and pimping Rubio as the only person that can stop Trump. They are in fear of a Trump nomination, because they don't feel he can win in November.

He was begging the audience to stop Trump, because winning the White House, even with an inferior candidate, is the prime goal.

These fools created this mess with all this anti-Obama, anti-Liberal, anti-government, the sky is falling crap people have been hearing non-stop even since Obama won in 2008. They created a monster they now can't contain.

Trump is still likely to have the most delegates at their convention. Neither rubio or cruz will drop out and they'll run neck and neck as the anti-trumps. Trump will not have a majority of the delegates. He will offer the VP spot to rubio, and if he does not accept it then cruz. The combined delegates will get trump enough to win the nomination.

I suspect the candidate who has done the worst delegate wise will accept trump's deal. Third place isn't a good spot to be if a floor fight starts.

I mean the virulently racist, not the latent racists, the ones that really do want the wall to be "10 feet higher" (Trump's latest talking point).

The only way Rubio even has a shot is if Cruz drops out and endorses him, that's not likely to happen given Cruz' ego and his being a career politician.

Many states after Super Tuesday are winner-take-all. Trump is going to get the majority by the time the primaries are all done. The GOP doesn't have the wacky superdelegate system the Democrats have to trigger a fight.
