Working class hero: Trump, in 1990 interview, blames coal miners for getting black lung
Apparently, they weren't "imaginative" enough to not work in the mines:
Trump: I love the creative process. I do what I do out of pure enjoyment. Hopefully, nobody does it better. Theres a beauty to making a great deal. Its my canvas. And I like painting it. I like the challenge and tell the story of the coal miners son. The coal miner gets black-lung disease, his son gets it, then his son. If I had been the son of a coal miner, I would have left the damn mines. But most people dont have the imagination-or whatever-to leave their mine. They dont have it.
Playboy: Which is?
Trump: It is an ability to become an entrepreneur, a great athlete, a great writer. Youre either born with it or youre not.

Says the guy who inherited daddy's money and never had to work a day in his life. Now he wants to lecture people in coal country, where there are no other jobs and blame them for coming down with health issues due to their company's shoddy safety measures
If we had a media worth a damn, this would be his "47 percent" moment.
What an asshole.
