Racism & Bigotry Now A "Badge Of Honor" For GOP Base.

Trump has allowed the the true image of GOP to emerge and even make the racism and bigotry mainstream in America. "Make American Great Again" is racist code saying that electing a black president has tainted and defamed the country.

...that some people are now saying proudly - in public - shit that they used to say only to their golfing buddies or over a beer at the bar.

It was there all the time, but now those assholes aren't ostracized for saying it out loud in public.

And if we're being honest, during the FDR era as well.

This has been par for the course for a long ass time. As a gay person, we have literally been their targets for YEARS! They didn't even bother speaking in code. They did everything short of calling us "faggots and dykes", and in some cases, they actually did! Never mind their continuous war of women.

There love of bigotry and racism is nothing new and has often been a source of pride for them.

publicity (for better or worse) that they did not receive in great amounts in the past. Racism and bigotry were always there but they were the 'weird uncle' that polite republicans tried to ignore and certainly did not talk about in the past. I wonder if that would not still be the case if it were Rubio vs Cruz vs Kasich vs whoever this year.
