(53,975 posts)This has been par for the course for a long ass time. As a gay person, we have literally been their targets for YEARS! They didn't even bother speaking in code. They did everything short of calling us "faggots and dykes", and in some cases, they actually did! Never mind their continuous war of women.
There love of bigotry and racism is nothing new and has often been a source of pride for them.

Racism and bigotry were always there but they were the 'weird uncle' that polite republicans tried to ignore and certainly did not talk about in the past. I wonder if that would not still be the case if it were Rubio vs Cruz vs Kasich vs whoever this year.
