WASHINGTON The top political adviser in Washington to the Koch brothers will join Marco Rubios presidential campaign in another sign the GOP establishment is trying to bolster the Florida senators White House bid.
Marc Short, president of Freedom Partners, will become senior adviser to Rubios campaign.

Freedom Partners is the umbrella political organization of Charles and David Koch, the billionaire brothers who are among the most generous supporters of Republicans.
This is a big get for Rubio, Phil Cox, former executive director of the Republican Governors Association, told Politico.

(30,099 posts)that pisses off his base. They do not want another establishment guy and Rubio
is all those things, he's their adorable neocon. Trump's reaction is also going to
be interesting, I would not bet he'll go quietly. Rubio needs Trumps voters and
The Donald is not about the good of the party.
