24 years ago, I remember discussing infrastructure

with friends. We talked about how aged our bridges were. Later, I discussed infrastructure with a RW friend who was worried about our aging power grid because she was experiencing rolling blackouts (and ENRON). She was also concerned about air transportation and airports. Now, we are finally talking about our aging water systems and the long term costs of babies, children, and adults drinking contaminated and toxic water.

When are we finally going to put together a national plan to take care of our infrastructure? All of it? Stop blowing our taxes on destroying and rebuilding other countries' infrastructure? This is sickening.

she'd prefer to have it paid for by taxing the poor, the unemployed, and the disabled. I don't think she personally wanted to part sith a single nickel of her husband's $350k+/ annual salary.

We aren't friends any more. Not so much for political reasons, but because of the personality disorders that accompany Tea Party and GOP thinking. Her way of thinking put tremendous strain on our friendship. She was the essence of hypocrisy.

Lots of opportunities to improve peoples' lives by rebuilding infrastructure.

Military is the most inefficient use of people and natural resources.
