Nebraska Senator Ben Sasse--a Lincoln Republican of the old school?

I get the distinct feeling that he's really a RINO. Anywhere less red than NE, and he'd probably have run as a conservative Dem. I read that he ran on abolishing Obamacare, but that may have been in order to out-flank his neo-con primary opponent.

Love the way he just handed Joe Scar his ass on Morning Shmo. Sure, he had to bad-mouth Hillary a bit (he comes from NE, for heaven's sake).

But, he appears to be a man with a few remaining principles. Said unequivocally that he will never endorse Drumpf under any circumstances. Perhaps Nebraskans can weigh in with more info. on him?
