If you're anywhere near, the temps should be steady for a few more weeks and the blooms will still be there.

(21,594 posts)It was on both of our bucket lists. Spectacular and worth the long drive. In addition to flowers, the plants are green. I'm glad I saw it.

(56,177 posts)I have some longer shots where you can see the flowers go on and on..but the effect is lost because the color isn't as bright.

(22,974 posts)Former NM resident. I love the yellow prickly pear flowers. I used to go hiking in a remote area where the canyon walls were covered with prickly pears in bloom. Ocotillo is my favorite.
