Gave the Republican poll judge in Texas a hard time today

They said you had to have photo ID. i made a big stink about it being discriminatory. Just to irk them and to have everyone in line hear me.
Fiesty mood today

Holder gave it a shot - but failed...

In 2011, the Texas Legislature passed Senate Bill 14 (SB 14) creating a new requirement for voters to show photo identification when voting in person. While pending review within the judicial system, the U.S. Supreme Court issued its opinion in Shelby County v. Holder, which effectively ended all pending litigation. As a result, voters are now required to present an approved form of photo identification in order to vote in all Texas Elections.

More about Texas...
The majority of Texas elections are determined in the primary election. This is because most Texas districts are drawn to heavily favor one party over the other. Like it or not, the reality is that candidates in the minority party typically have no chance of winning in the general election, and in some instances the minority party doesn’t attract a single candidate

bleeding. Not through the nostrils but the skin on her whole nose was raw and bloody - no where else on her face - just her nose.

It was distracting, but I carried on anyway.

news - but I honestly thought it didn't ever pass. The last meeting I went to - they said the repukes were trying to come up with a program to scan DL names for "hispanic sounding names" since Holder said it could be discriminatory to hispanics and he wanted the state to match that scan to the voter list.

When I heard her call someone to ask, I high-tailed it out so she didn't correct me

Would you give someone a hard time about enforcing voting law? That person can't change the law and who knows if he/she even supports it.

The people working at the polls are volunteers. Working a 14-hour day. Have some respect next time. Or even better, volunteer so you can get a taste of what it's like.

Was not happy to hear that.

Trump supporters in Texas are complaining that their ballots are being changed to show “Rubio” at polling sites.

Infowars reported:

People voting for Donald Trump in today’s Super Tuesday Texas Primary are seeing their ballots changed to show a vote for Marco Rubio.

Numerous callers flooded Austin-based radio station KLBJ this morning with reports of mistakes after they tried to vote for Trump.

According to KLBJ, “computer freezeups” and other “glitches” are causing voting snafus at locations all around Travis County.

Trump supporters previously accused the Rubio campaign of stealing votes in Iowa after the Florida Senator achieved a surprise third place finish.

If Rubio fails to secure a strong finish in today’s primaries he could be forced to drop out of the race altogether.

And they sent me to the handicapped one, so I had to stoop... through three pages of judges.

I looked over at the Republican side, and of course, they had a chair at their handicapped station.

I drew Lon Burnam for RR commissioner's name second, so he was placed in the 2nd slot. This was at the Tarrant County Democratic Party CEC meeting in January.

This is one area where I disagree with most Democrats.

How do we keep non-Americans from voting if we don't make it mandatory to show ID?

this happens - fake voters - to any significant degree to punish millions. It is just a right wing ploy to hopefully minimize Democrat votes
