According to MSNBC: tRump is Obama's fault!

Honestly, home early, turn it on, and this is what I hear. Obama drove us voters to mass hysteria, making us vulnerable to Frump's TV circus persona.

Are we going to ever find anything that isn't Obama's fault?

I wouldn't say 'fault', but I'd say he's a reaction. Erich Bloodaxe BSN Mar 2016 #1

It's Obama's fault for being a black man.

The fact that Trump fans are a bunch of racist assholes has nothing to do with it.

RWers talking point being repeated until it becomes fact. Its not true, but alas, the truth is barely exposed. We are living in a country that spews propaganda just like what happened to many countries during their fall.

..that the "media" simply can't or won't take responsibility for the insufferable, incessant tRumpFest that they've subjected people to over the last several months.

They brag and boast how their ratings and revenues are sky high because of tRumpFest, and then they have the absolute gall to scratch their heads in "innocent wonder" and point to their favorite scapegoat... President Obama.

Disgusting... IMO.

Historically, populists creep up on unsuspecting corrupt, ossified, inadequate political systems. Years of ineffective government run by an oligarchy has left us vulnerable.

add decades of Washington arrogance, cluelessness and out of touch.

the party bases are both in revolt against the party elites, triggered by anger over the distance between what is said in campaigns, and what happens in Washington.

I also think the 2008-09 financial bailout is a factor. we have had bad recessions before, but a rescession, a weak recovery, combined with a multi trillion dollar financial bailout was the last straw for many people.

Fannie, Freddie and AIG alone got more than $300 billion (that's $1000 per person).
