(RNN) The CEO and COO of Wounded Warrior Project have been fired, according to media reports.
Steven Nardizzi, former CEO and Al Giordano, former COO, were let go over spending issues with the organization's funds.
The Wounded Warrior Project came under fire after investigations revealed that it was spending more money on administration, meetings and travel than its clients: wounded veterans.
The charity has not publicly commented.
