Henrico County VA votes UNANIMOUSLY to rename Harry F. Byrd middle school

Harry F. Byrd was the leader of an incredibly powerful political machine in Virginia. He served in the General Assembly, as Governor, and U. S. Senator. He lead the "Massive Resistance" movement to ignore Brown v. Board. Schools were closed, private school tuitions were funded by the state, books were denied to predominantly black schools, etc.
