Heard this on a repeat of his show yesterday. One of Thom's female cousins had married an undocumented immigrant who had been in the country about ten years. He ran a Mexican restaurant in northern Michigan. They had two children. The U.S. government DEPORTED HIM. Thom even enlisted the help of Bernie, but to no avail. I think his family moved with him to Mexico, but just think of how heartless this is! Our government tore away a husband and father away from his own wife and children!
I don't know a lot about our deportation practices, but I've heard Obama refereed to as the "deporter in chief" I also heard he's setting records on whistle blower prosecutions.
I'm getting cognitive dissonance here. Help me, DU, to understand this. And also Obama's super aggressive support of the heinous TPP?

If said Mexican national married a US citizen he was eligible for virtually certain green card and naturalization status. So why didn't the two of them take care of that?
There's got to be more to the story. But the important thing Mr. Hartmann would like to remind you is that MARKETS ARE CRASHING! BUY GOLD AND SUPER BEET MIRACLE POWDER!
