Republicans, even the so-called moderates will rally around this psycho. Drumpf IS the republican party stripped of its dog whistle politics. The soul of the party is finally unmasked and unleashed. Racist hatred is not a bug, it's the main feature.

Drumpf has made it acceptable, there will be no anti-Drumpf movement. EVERY republican will fall in line just like Chris Christie and Ben Carson. It's in their DNA.

Our only hope is that there are not enough of them to win the election.

to cut deals with McConnell and Ryan to be able to DISAVOW Drumpf in their individual races.

Don't have a link, but read it here recently.

When Drumpf actually wins the nomination and there's no more room for political equivocation, we'll see who bolts the party and who acquiesces. I'm very skeptical of republican "altruism."

It'll be hilarious watching the GOP establishment eating their words from this whole campaign cycle, and vainly trying to come to some kind of "accommodation" with The Orange One.

It will be fun to watch them squirm on national TV as they reveal their hypocrisy. They will all be thinner versions of Chris Christie, uncomfortably standing behind Drumpf with their dignity in tatters. When the "strongman" calls, they will obediently follow and will be subject to our endless ridicule and scorn.

Maybe there will be some republicans with integrity, I'm betting against it.

It's going to be a fun summer.

I'm assuming that's because you can't gerrymander a Senate race.

also the repubs are defending 24 Senate seats, dems only 10.

But again, if the republican party coalesces with Drumpf, they will be formidable.
