GOP Debate Cancelled After Drumpf Says He Won't Attend

http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2016-election/gop-debate-cancelled-after-trump-says-he-won-t-attend-n540256

Next week's Republican presidential debate in Salt Lake City, Utah was cancelled Wednesday after Donald Trump said he likely would not attend, a spokesman for the Republican National Committee confirmed to NBC News.

Trump told debate host Fox News that he did not know about the planned showdown Monday and had another event scheduled.

"I think we've had enough debates," Trump said on Fox & Friends Wednesday, adding that he is "making a major speech in front of a very important group of people."

Trump later said he is addressing the powerful American Israel Public Affairs Committee and cannot make what would be the 13th GOP showdown.

He was at the bottom or only finished ahead of Rubio in the other primaries Tuesday.

I expect Kasich to drop out after the next set of primaries.

He knows he'll get clobbered in a one-on-one debate with Hillary or Bernie.

I'm just afraid Trump's going to barrel and talk right over whoever gets the Dem nom. He'll actually have to know something if they take turns and the moderators actually moderate.
