...would be shutting up all the people making noise about how elections are all bought and there's no point to any of it.

Hey, everybody! Stay upbeat! Voter turnout in WI is off the charts! 119% in Milwaukee.
We can win this tonight. Revel in it.

And a major smackdown of the Koch brothers.
Actually, maybe best of all would be seeing the joy in the faces of union members and the Progressive Democrats who worked so hard to toss out a hard core RW governor in favor of a good Democrat.
But that's just me.

(24,331 posts)But a Republican governor three states away from me bothers me a lot less than the people who run around crying that everything's rigged. Either we'll win or lose in Wisconsin, but if somebody throws up their hands and walks away, there's NO chance of winning.

(12,041 posts)This election would not even be close if both sides were equally funded, the fact is that people do buy elections. While it is true that money is no guarantee of victory and people should not give up just because the other side has more money than they do, we should never ignore the impact that money has on the electoral process.

(55,981 posts)You being able to tell people they were wrong (at least in one case) is more important than fixing the government in WI? More important that showing that the people are willing to stand up to big money?
