Warren: I'm Leia, not Vader

It's the latest escalation in Warren’s war against deregulating Wall Street.

In an email titled, "I won't be neutered," Warren said, "The Force is not strong" with Luetkemeyer, who went after her at an American Bankers Association conference Wednesday.

Warren said she identifies more with Leia, “a senator and Resistance general who, unlike the guys, is never even remotely tempted by the dark side.”

"Why would he go out of his way to say something so sexist and offensive?" Warren said. "Is he hostile to all women? Clueless? Afraid? And then I had a second thought: This is all about money."

Luetkemeyer is a senior member of the House Financial Services Committee. Warren said he's a "Wall Street yes-man" and that "trying to land the best zinger with my name is just one more way to earn chits and try to cash in big time with that audience."

"They can call me Darth Vader or Voldemort or the Wicked Witch of Massachusetts for all I care — but I won’t be neutered. I won’t be muzzled. And I won’t stop fighting to level the playing field for working families," she said.

I'm guessing her son's not exactly a good guy so far, but that's speculation.

Not only is Elizabeth right on the issues. She is so on point when she decides to mix it up with the freaks on the right.

Sorry, Luetkemeyer when you take on Sen. Warren you are out of your league!

that as unwise it would be to have Clinton as president, running another person for VP from the north is just plain stupid!
And no, I was never an advocate for the Sanders/Warren thing either.

I think Warren would play well in the crucial swing states like Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

That a presidential candidate from Illinois with a VP from Delaware are the same as a Presidential candidate from NY and one from Mass?
It was not the same. Delaware is considered by many a Southern state. It is at least Nearer the South than is NY and Mass.

Elizabeth Warren grew up in Oklahoma and went to college in Houston. She moved to Massachusetts when she was in her forties.

Delaware is not considered a Southern state by anyone. It borders New Jersey and Pennsylvania (which is where Biden grew up).

Maryland but I guess that you do not consider that a southern state either. Funny, people I know in Virginia and Maryland consider Delaware a "semi-southern" state.

and consumer rights. Hillary is much more pro-banks than Elizabeth Warren.

They disagree for example on the Bankruptcy Bill (although at one time, before the banks started paying her off, Hillary agreed with Elizabeth Warren on these issues).

Please read Elizabeth Warren's book. She does not play the banks' game like Hillary does.

Yes, maybe in 1907 I would have considered it Southernish, but that's changed. Anything to the northeast of DC is considered part of the Northeast.

no southern states are in play this time,,,,, ah but u say FL,,, FL is no longer a southern state or VA. It will be the same Blue states that put Obama in the WH the last 2 election. and Warren plays well in all those states.

Leia would have called out the emperor no matter what the cost. Why hasn't Warren called out the candidate who is clearly bought and paid for by Wall Street; instead she is keeping her mouth shut, like a good little girl, playing ball. She's letting Luke (Sanders) fight the battle without her at his side.
