Romney: A vote for Kasich helps 'Trumpism'

Here is Romney, reversing himself, and attacking Kasich a few days after supporting him during the Ohio primaries.

ominee, said Friday he's voting for Texas Sen. Ted Cruz in Tuesday's Utah Republican presidential caucuses.

The announcement, made on Romney's Facebook page, is a blow to Ohio Gov. John Kasich, with whom Romney had campaigned earlier this month. In fact, Romney said, a vote for Kasich is a vote for "Trumpism."

...from emerging as the obvious establishment alternative to either Trump or Cruz. The corporate establishment does not like Trump or Cruz, since the first is obviously racist and the second is obviously batshit crazy. But, Romney the opportunist, understands that Kasich would be the establishment's favorite alternative if he has a decent enough number of delegates. Thus, while Romney supported Kasich in Ohio, even though Kasich really did not need Romney's support, Romney is now turning around and attacking Kasich who is Romney's biggest obstacle to stealing the nomination in a brokered convention.

It's not every day that the Republican party explodes with such fervor.
