I suppose this is "second hand," but like I said, I'm a real person, and the lovely teacher I spoke to was very much a real person.
This robo call that said "if you signed the petition, you've already been counted" really happened. It's not made up. Of course, she was too smart to fall for that malarkey, but she was very upset by it.
I told her to contact the FEC. That's messed up.

(29,676 posts)the ACLU out of Madison possibly stepping in due to "questions" about registering at the polls, about people being turned away for lack of ID, about people being informed that they will not be allowed to vote after 8 pm even if already in line.

AND ACLU staffer helping at a polling place in Milwaukee, for those who'd been turned away due to lack of I.D.
