Yesterday @ the gym on one of the TVs they had on CNN (2 are given over to
Fox News and 2 are given over to the local Fox channel) and I saw the President
and his family getting off A.F. #1 in Cuba and I stopped and watched the action ...
no sound .... and I was filled w/pride and respect for President Obama and his
family.
That is all.

(17,751 posts)... and if they DARED to say ANYTHING positive they'd face hellfire and boycotts from the intransigent RW "exiles". It was so bad that they won't even refer to Raul Castro as President... instead they called him "leader" Castro so as to not disturb the RW Miami exile dystopian fantasies.
The propaganda and outright lies were thick and deep. National audience has most all of their Cuba news filtered like this.

be time to try something new.

I am not interested in trying something new if the intention is to undermine Cuba's sovereignty. The "trying something new" meme connotes a new strategy to overthrow Cuba's system of governance, since the old strategy didn't "work".
