This seals Trump's victory

I wouldn't be surprised if this seals Trump's victory to the nomination of the Republican Party. With all the anti Muslim hatred growing and another attack in Bruselles I can see this guy having a chance in the general election.

I saw the reaction from the right wing and there already blaming Obama and saying all Muslims should be rounded up in the U.S.

It's really getting scarey that this POS have so much sway in the things he says in the Republican Party. It's really sad.

I see how they vote. I tend to think all but the most open-minded moderate conservatives are lacking in the ability to deal intelligently and positively with a diverse world of great change, but many are nevertheless good people who so do not deserve Trump. Let's see what they decide.

another San Bernardino-style attack could make the election a lot less predictable.
there is serious cause for concern. electorates are swayed by such events.

she's going to have to figure out something special so any national security failures that the media will blame on president Obama don't leak over onto her campaign.

for starters, i wouldn't start basing a point like that on what Americans can find on a map; i remember a few years back seeing a study that many of us couldn't find goddam North America on a map, and that's kind of related to our domestic national security by definition.

that aside, have you ever heard of Afghanistan? i think someone else already mentioned Iraq. how about Benghazi? i doubt more than 10% of the population can easily find Benghazi on a map, but every GOP wanker who watches Fox News regularly seems to think it might as well be in downtown Omaha.

seriously, if there's a terrorist attack in the USA come October, it will be on president Obama's watch, and HRC better have some slick willy magic ready to go or the resulting attacks are going to stick. maybe not for long, but a couple weeks will do the trick.

unfortunately, that there will be more terror attacks, either in Europe or in this country, between now and the election. As far as Hillary being seen as "Strong on foreign policy", the vast majority of the electorate are not policy wonks and unless Hillary came out vocally against taking in refugees (not suggesting that she should), many voters will see Trumps "strong" position as being one that will keep the country safer then Hillary will. It doesn't matter whether that is actually bullshit, all that matters is if enough swing voters perceive it to be the case.

will benefit her against the REAL warmongers on the right. The same claims were made about Pres. Obama, and his "weakness" on national security, but he glided to re-election in spite of it. Trying to out hawk the Republicans is not a winning strategy. Let Hillary be Hillary, and all your made up scenarios notwithstanding, the voters get to decide.

His TV gig was designed to give that impression. And coming down hard against Muslims is not a political liability in the current environment.
