Confederate flag debate taken up at Southern Huntingdon County High School (PA)

... "We're here to make sure none of our students are intimidated to come to school or fear coming to school, being bullied or harassed," says Superintendent Mike Zinobile. "I'm just asking the community to support the decisions made by the administration" ...

"Of course people can represent how they want to out there but when my kids come to school, I want to know that they're safe and protected," says concerned mother, Donna Barney.

... Zinobile ... says a few weeks ago two students made a noose on a school bus followed by saying two minority students should "be hung." Zinobile then explained that one of those students who made the noose came to school with the flag on his truck ...

Administration decided to not allow students to fly the flag on their cars or wear it to school ...

There has been lots of Klan activity outside the South over the years. They damn near ran Indiana in the 1920s! And Anaheim, scene of a recent Klan rally, has a long Klan history, outlined at the beginning of Fast Food nation.
