CNN’s GOP Town Hall Is Most-Watched on Record

Tuesday night’s CNN GOP Town Hall was cable news’ most-watched town hall on record in both total viewers and adults 25-54. Hosted by Anderson Cooper, the Wisconsin Town Hall was the No.1 cable news program in prime time, averaging 3.26 million total viewers, per Nielsen Fast National data (final numbers will be released after 4 p.m. ET.

The Town Hall gave CNN a prime time win in both viewers and the demo. It also gave the network rare wins over FNC’s dominant prime time programs, including cable’s No. 1 show The O’Reilly Factor (which was hosted by Eric Bolling last night).
