Only A Matter Of Time Sex Outside Of Marriage Illegal. If GOP In Power.

Last edited Fri Apr 1, 2016, 09:27 AM - Edit history (1)

If GOP remains in power in the states to the extent they do and they make gains nationally including WH, having sex outside of marriage could become a felony or at least a misdemeanor requiring counseling. Actually divorce could disappear is the religious right has its way. Marriage is an insoluble convenient ordained by God.

Mississippi's new law should be a warning about what the GOP actually thinks and what they might do in reality. We must take these supposed sideline issues seriously. Big government will be off the back of business. And big government will control private lives particularly sexuality like never before. The American Taliban or ISIS is on the march.

The Mississippi legislation really reveals the thinking of the religious right and their allies if they get the power they covet. A lot of voters might see it is nothing particularly important but I believe the message is loud and clear.

These people are little different than the Islamic extremists. They are not using violence yet but they do intend to push agendas to its logical conclusion. .

The fastest growing religion in the US is Buddhism.

People should be aware that shaming poor unwed mothers is done for one reason only,

So that their babies can be sold for six figure sums to the highest bidder. Right wing churches have a monopoly on 'adoption facilitation" and its a huge unregulated export industry.

Other countries are no longer so evil to mothers so the US has become the go to place in the whole world for childless, wealthy white couples to adopt with little red tape. All they need is money.

going to weekend retreats and talks. Although I'm a newbie I think it's helping me. It amuses me how many other former RC's I've met who are now full fledged (i.e., they have taken lay vows) Buddhists.

This won't stand very long. Not only does this law impact the LGBT folk it's been directed against, it allows petty office bosses to turn their business or state office into a church.

Among other things:

- Death for homosexuality, being transgender
- The return of coat hanger abortions and women bleeding out.
- A phony, forced sense of religion that forces minority religions and atheists into hiding.
- Further division and a widening of the "us vs. them" culture

Luckily this is 25% of America. While their numbers are large, the majority of America will reject their backwards ways.
