So lets assume Drumpf is yesterday's news. Now what?

Who do we now root for?

Will Drumpf's supporters be reabsorbed into the woodwork?

After Drumpf, will Cruz seem reasonable and, dare I say it, likable by comparison?

Will the universally despised Cruz be able to somehow enjoy support of the rank and file GOPee? Of fellow GOPee politicians? Of the GOPee leadership?

Should we forget about Cruz and Katich and look to the likely brokered candidates? Maybe Ryan? Maybe . . . . Mittens? If not them, then who? (I actually have a name to consider - Mike Steele.)

So . . . . now what?

To block trump on the first ballot.

After that it doesn't matter what happens, the goopers are fucked.

But whether trump has finally begun his descent is yet to be seen.

...his people won't care much about media "bumps". I think he'll recover a bit in Wisconsin, nearly tie Cruz, and go on from there. He'll be maybe 25-50 delegates short going into the convention, and probably pick them up by the time of the first ballot. The GOP "establishment" will bite the bullet and accept the inevitable. Andm hopefully, he'll be annihilated in November...

...the GOP elites will be the ones to blink first, and accept him rather than have a convention bloodbath, or risk him running as a 3rd party. A deal will be made, and enough delegates will be found to put him over the top.
