Rove is talking about a “Fresh Face”..This am..

I called this one 2 days ago... Trump is done! (My Feelings)

Republicans will demand a brokered convention and choose someone who literally is unknown..
They will push and pump this candidate (making sure he/she is not a Sarah Palin type) making sure that he/she is articulate and has very little history to scrutinize.. This selected candidate will have good knowledge of Foreign affairs and economic policy and will be good at deflecting any questions dealing with abortion, woman’s healthcare or any other subject which Republicans are rating poor polling data..

Yep! Thats what I think is gonna happen..

And the party will split if not splinter. And everyone from all sides will be looking to TO this person.

Ugh. Whenever they shit the bed they go to Ryan as the backup. If I were him (and thank the gods I'm not) I'd get tired of being their cleanup man.

7. Party Chairman Preibus was bragging on the Republicans' deep bench

Back when there were more than a dozen hopefuls, Reince Preibus was bragging on the surfeit of qualified candidates the Republicans were running. Are they going to have a beauty pageant style competition with the contestants answering questions about their hopes for the future (hint: say world peace then shut up)? Or will it be a Survivor-style slog across a deserted island, collecting the snuffed torches of the losers who have gone before, culminating in a big bonfire and a final tribal council meeting?

Since Trump has already ordered his partisans to riot if he's denied the nomination (even if he doesn't secure a majority of the delegates), the Republican brain trust would be well-advised to proceed carefully.

Don't. Say. I. Didn't. Say. I. Didn't. Warn. Ya. (For all the good it will do for these lizard-brained assholes.)

The man is delusional. If the convention goes beyond the first ballot almost anything can happen but it sure will not happen according to what Rove wants or does not want.

of voting in the convention? Stranger things have happened, though you would probably have to go back to the Republicans in 1876 or 1880 (one of those two elections)

Pataki would be the ultimate generic candidate, though would have absolutely no following, other than Alphonse "Pothole Al" D'Amata.
