http://us.blastingnews.com/news/2016/04/megyn-kelly-admits-she-has-received-death-threats-for-criticizing-donald-trump-00862639.htmlThe battle between Republican front runner Donald Trump and Fox News host Megyn Kelly began at the first debate last August. Since that time, there's been no love lost between the two, with the feud reaching a potentially dangerous level as of late.
After Kelly questioned the billionaire real estate mogul on his past controversial remarks about women, Trump initially laughed it off. Since that time, Trump has referred to Kelly as a "bimbo" who was "overrated," also accusing the popular cable news host of unfair treatment during the GOP primary. Die hard Trump supporters have since turned on Kelly, showing that their allegiance with the conservative Fox News is starting to shift. During a April 3 interview with CBS Sunday Morning, Kelly elaborated on how she has been treated in a post-Donald Trump political America.
"It's not so much what he writes or says, it's how he gins up anger among so many, so it manifests in my life in several ways," Kelly told host Charlie Rose. When asked if there have been "threats" against her life, Kelly stated that she was worried "someones gonna hurt me in the presence of my children."
When asked why she believed Trump was so hostile towards her, Kelly and her husband, Doug Brunt, think they found the answer. "I think it's very clear to him that he cannot control the editorial on my show," Kelly concluded. Rose then asked if there was anything more to his anger, Kelly simply said she wouldn't want to "speculate" any further. While Kelly says the entire situation has been "frustrating," she would still "absolutely" have Trump return to her show for an interview.

(42,765 posts)1. Deplorable but not so surprising.
Consider the source.

(63,912 posts)2. threatening violence against her in the presence of her children is completely deplorable.
I hope Kelly has a change of heart about what the Republican party stands for. It is blatantly clear in her instance. It may not be easy for her, but she has to rethink where she works and what she stands for after this experience.
