I am not a man, but even men bake cookies. Since when is baking cookies sexist? I guess here at DU when you say such things, they get hidden. I just implied that Hillary at this time may have wished she had baked some cookies instead of pay to play. Jebus!
Even I would rather show my recipes than my pay to play transcripts.

(15,189 posts)So men don't bake cookies? Just because the Queen used that analogy when she was First Lady she doesn't own it.

(37,573 posts)I used to do a lot more baking. Heck, I even made a few pies - although I got the crust from a box. I asked my mom for instructions, and her instruction was - get the crust from a box. I might still be baking pies if I could get some rhubarb. When I was in grad school, and doing more baking, I even made peanut butter bars and rice krispies treats.
I am not sure why my baking has slacked off. Perhaps it is not as fun with an electric oven. You have to watch it much closer with electric. Gas is much more forgiving in my experience.
