You can turn off or whitelist the sites, like DU, that you wish to see the ads for. The ad-blocking is baked right into the browser. HTH.

Holy Moly! That site is impossible to navigate without ad blocking. It's like a browser virus; brings your computer to its knees.

I tried DU w/o ad blocking for a while, but it got worse and worse and I couldn't take it anymore. Just on my computer. I don't impose it on computers I seldom use however, so some ad revenue still gets through.

I'm going to turn off ad-blocking for DU, but for the other 99.999999% of the web, sorry folks. Online advertisers have overreached, and this is the result. Old-fashioned ads circa 1996 please FTW.
