We have the gun-owner persecution-complex.
And now we're gonna get the Trump-supporter persecution-complex.

At no point in the interview was there any mention of actual threats that have been made against a student’s grades or job prospects on the basis of their preferred president candidate.

Maybe there should be some threats to racists' job prospects. This way, they won't be able to act on their bigotry and discriminate on the job.
If a friend told you they were supporting Trump, could you not say "Are you out of your fucking mind?"
I will most certainly use this line in the future ~
"confusing the words persecuted and ridiculed"
