According to an exit poll tonight in Wisconsin, if Trump is the nominee, 39% of Republicans will abandon their party. If it's Cruz, 35% won't vote Republican. I don't know how much stock I put in the poll (it's cited at Balloon Juice tonight), but it's probably every bit as durable and trustworthy as any poll that shows Clinton leading Cruz by 3% and losing to Kasich.
