April 5, 1614 Addled Parliament began--infamous for being ineffective.
England's King James I convened the second Parliament of his rule; the "Addled Parliament," as it came to be known for accomplishing nothing, lasted two months.
Being victims of the Addled GOP congress, we're quite familiar with the concept.
