http://www.rawstory.com/2016/04/trump-proclaims-he-will-use-mafia-tactics-to-force-key-us-allies-to-pay-off-the-national-debt/Its possible that if Japan doesnt want to pay up, well say, Good luck and defend yourself, Trump said. If that means theyre going to have to arm in some way, theyre going to have to arm in some way. We cant afford to were paying for the military of Japan.
The real estate investor and former reality TV star has said Japan, South Korea and Saudi Arabia should be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons to defend themselves, which he said would save the U.S. money.
(Yeah... No... What if Japan says "Fuck you, your military-base is nothing but trouble, get out of Japan?"
Where in the Pacific would President Trump build a new US-military-base close to the asian mainland?
And does Trump really think that the theocratic, absolutist monarchy that spawned Al-Qaeda and ISIS should have access to nukes?)
...
I am doing so good on nuclear by people that are fair, Trump said. Whats happening now is were paying for the worlds were like the worlds policeman but they dont pay us for it. We lose a fortune on the military. You know, our military budget is phenomenally higher than any other budget but its not for us, were protecting everybody else and we lose a fortune.
(About that military-budget... Maybe start with small changes? Like auditing how much the DoD is actually spending and where?
How many soldiers will Trump send into unemployment?
And how many private-sector jobs will be destroyed if the US-military drastically cuts back spending?
And how many percent of economic growth would be needed to offset not only the lost jobs, but to create new ones ON TOP of that?)
...
They dont like us so much and, you know what, with me, theyre going to like us and theyre going to pay more and theyre going to be very happy, okay? Trump said.

Absolutely brillant.

Trump proclaims he will use Mafia tactics to force key US allies to pay off the national debt
Ill save things that everyone else says cant be saved because Ill bring back all of this money that were wasting on other countries.
Were going to have a country like you wouldnt believe, he added.
Trump described the U.S. as a debtor nation, but he said income from new tribute payments by allies and slashing foreign aid should pay off the national debt and fund his massive tax cuts for the wealthy.
Such a sophisticated foreign policy. "You will pay us or else!" Typical RW opposition to foreign aid - ignoring how tiny the amount actually is. At least he is not forgetting about our own 1% when he cuts foreign aid.
One of his statements I do agree with: "Were going to have a country like you wouldnt believe. Of course he means that in a 'great' way. In reality it is hard to believe how bad off the country would be under his leadership.
