http://www.thenewcivilrightsmovement.com/davidbadash/franklin_graham_goes_on_twitter_rant_to_defend_north_carolina_ant_lgbt_law_hb2Franklin Graham used the news Bruce Springsteen canceled his North Carolina concert in protest of anti-LGBT law HB2 as a springboard this weekend, launching a Twitter rant defending the discriminatory and unconstitutional ordinance.
The Charlotte-based preacher, anti-LGBT and political activist, and head of a non-profit that pays him a reported $880,000 per year, denounced America as a "nation embracing sin and bowing at the feet of godless secularism and political correctness."
Graham also used the right wing's false claim that HB2, which bans transgender people from using the restroom that conforms to their gender identity, somehow protects women and children, suggesting transgender people will attack them.
It's unclear how being in the same restroom with a transgender person violates "the human rights of millions of faith-based citizens."

crazy as shit people if they would just keep their beliefs to themselves and not expect the rest of to make their spiritual dream come true.
Guess what Frank, we don't buy the BS anymore. Burn me once, shame on me but once I can smell the stench on the shit, I'm outta there.

(24,396 posts)2. How about this: before your religious beliefs have any standing in the political arena, you
1. provide objective evidence that your beliefs are based in fact, and
2. your church pays taxes.
Otherwise, shut the fuck up.
