President Obama gets to see ‘Game of Thrones’ way before everyone else

With the "Game of Thrones" season six premiere weeks away, most diehard fans are beside themselves with anticipation. This season has been the most secretive yet, with code names for characters and canceled press screeners worldwide.

But one man probably got his hands on an advanced copy of the season six episodes: President Obama.

During an interview at the Hollywood premiere of "Game of Thrones" on April 10, showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss discussed Obama's access to the tightly-sealed material.

Interviewer Veronica Belmont asked: "Have you had any major aha moments — like ‘Oh my god we totally made it’ — now that you’ve come into season six and the show is just so incredibly big and popular?"
